Smoke and Sparkle eyes!

Hi All,

I decided to create a glam, night out look with some of my new make up.

This was what I came up with....For this look I used a NYX jumbo pencil in slate as a base, all over the lid and up in the crease. Then I went over that with loreal colour infalible in midnight blue. I used a MAC 219 to line under my eyes with the same shadow. I then mixed Illamasqua static pigment with ELF's lock and seal to make a liquid and i patted this onto the lid & into the corner of my eye. I then took the MUA undressed palette & used the sparkly black to define the corner V and under my eyes. I then took the midtone brown and with a blending brush I used it to blend away any harsh lines. I took the sparkly champagne colour from the same palette & put that into my tear duct area & onto my brow bone. I then lined my eyes top and bottom with ELF's black cream liner and I put it onto my water line. Then I curled my lashes and used maybeline define-a-lash mascara. On my brows I used Elf's define and lift in ash.
I think this look would look really pretty with pinky nude lips.

I hope you like it?

Any requests?

June Faves...

Sooooooorrrrrryyyy!!! I have been AWOL for ages, I have had things happening in my personal life & I have finished my college course.
Anyway I am back and I will have a few posts to put up over the next few days!

So on to my June faves!

Number 1. Simple face wipes - I adore these, they remove my make up so well but are gentle on my quite sensitive skin.

Number 2. Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait - So I jumped on the lip butter band wagon and I love love love it!! i'm very into peachy and corally colours at the moment and this one is very pretty. It's natural with a bit of glitter.

Number 3. MUA undressed palette - oh my days!! I love this!! apparently its a perfect dupe for the naked palette, I don't own the naked palette but this is amazeballs! £4, bargain price, amazing pigmentation, gorgeous it!!

Number 4. MUA mosaic bronzer in sunkissed glow - I have had this for ages and wasn't all the bothered but with the summer weather (all 2 days of sun) it seems more appropriate to wear it now. The colour when used with a light hand is really nice, i'm very pale and it looks nice on me, I use the ELF gotta glow highlight on the tops of my cheek bones and these go really nice together.

Number 5. Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara- As you may know I ADORE Loreal volume million lashes, well this mascara is as good, if not better!! It makes my lashes look super long and defined.

and last but not least my random June fave has been my KOBO ereader, I love it! I am a real book-aholic and I am currently reading the Anita Blake books by Laurell K Hamilton, I am on book 9. Since I have had my ereader I have read the 50 shades trilogy, Beautiful Disaster by Jamie Mcguire (recommended), the first immortals book Evermore & the 9 Anita Blakes books and next i've got the Anne Rice books to read! I really like books that are as far from real life as possible, hence all the vamp, werewolf, mystical type books so if anyone has any book recommendations based on that, please comment below......

Review...Technic Idol Mascara

Hey lovelies!!

If you are in the UK you will have heard of Bodycare?! Well I went on a girly weekend to Scotland last weekend & needed toiletries so I popped in last week & I saw the gorgeously packaged Technic Idol Mascara!!
Isn't it lovely?? and the wand is really unusual & the best bit was it only cost £2.10, So I thought hey what have I got to lose.....

The Pros of this product are, The packaging is LUSH!!! the unusual wand makes it easy to coat even the smaller lashes and its mega cheap!

The cons of this product are, I think it has fibres in that are meant to make your lashes thicker....they are annoying, they make it look like my lashes are falling out and they fall under my eyes. The brush is good but the formula is pretty average, it doesn't curl my lashes, or thicken them, or even really lengthen them.

All in all, i'm disappointed :-( and I think i'm going to stick to my beloved volume million lashes......It does look pretty in my make up bag though! lol

Have you tried this mascara? if so what did you think?

Hey Lovelies,

I need your help! I am trying really hard to build up this blog and gain more followers but I seem to be stuff at 40! I would love love love to have a bigger audience, it would make my ego happy :-) lol

Anyway I would REALLY appreciate it if you all would do a shout out for me or mention my blog on your blogs/youtube channel's? Of course I will happily do the same for you, just put a comment on this post if you would like a shout out.

And if I can get my blog up to 75 followers I will do a big giveaway with lots of my favorite items in!

FYI, coming up will be a review on my real technique brushes, some "how to" posts and of course eye or face of the days. I'm planning on doing some creative make up posts too, I feel very inspired by IMATS still :-D

Any other suggestions?? I would love to hear them.

Please do let me know any thoughts, ideas or opinions.

Bright and wild...Jessie J inspired lips.

So this is the look i created on my second model. She has a very alternative look, with blue hair! So I went a bit wild with her make up, it was so much fun!!

I wanted to match her hair colour with her eye make up, so I used many different tones of blue, from teal tones to a more royal blue. I then lined her bottom and top lashes with a bright purple and added glitter liner over the top. The lashes for this look are amazing, they sweep out at the corners, creating an elongated, cat eye.

I added some jewels at the corners of her eyes.

Then i started on the lips, i mixed two pout paints to make a really electric purple and added purple jewels, in a jessie j inspired lip look.

I really enjoyed doing both of the looks today, it was a real honour being able to make up such beautiful canvas's!
Here are a few more pictures x

Soooo stunning!

What do you think?

Nude but glam!!

Hey lovelies,

Today i had the pleasure of doing two very different looks on two very different models.

The first I did was a neutrals but glam look with MASSIVE lashes!!

I focused alot on creating a glowing and glam look and because of the impact of the big lashes, i decided to go for a nice coral/nude lip.

Isn't my model stunning?

Hope you like?
